Khaberni - The United States proposed to Iran to accept a stop for 20 years on uranium enrichment during negotiations held in Islamabad over the weekend, as reported by "Axios" quoting an American official and an informed source.
The American official added that the United States asked Iran to remove all highly enriched uranium from the country.
He indicated that Iran offered a controlled dilution process for the highly enriched uranium instead of removing it from the country.
The American official said Iran believed it was close to a preliminary agreement in Islamabad, noting that there is ongoing communication between the United States and Iran and progress in trying to reach an agreement.
