Khaberni - Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said on Monday that the fighting operations are still ongoing, emphasizing Israel's support for US President Donald Trump's decision to impose a naval blockade on Iran.
Netanyahu added that US Vice President J.D. Vance made a phone call to him on Sunday, following his departure from Islamabad, where he briefed him on the latest developments in the negotiations that took place at the beginning of the week with Iran, which ended without an agreement.
He explained that Vance confirmed during the call that the issue of removing enriched materials and ensuring that uranium is not enriched are key issues in any potential understanding.
The blockade, announced by the United States, begins on Monday following the failure of negotiations between them in Islamabad, leading to a rise in oil prices.
According to Washington, the blockade starts at 14:00 GMT on Monday, affecting all ships heading to or sailing from Iranian ports.
US President Donald Trump confirmed the time and wrote on the Truth Social platform "The United States will impose a blockade on ships entering and leaving Iranian ports from April 13 at 10 am" Washington time.
