Khaberni - As part of enhancing its humanitarian role and consolidating the values of community responsibility, the health center at Al-Zaytoonah University of Jordan, in cooperation with the Directorate of the Blood Bank at the Ministry of Health, organized a blood donation campaign targeting university students and members of the faculty and administrative staff, and it witnessed widespread participation from various components of the university family.
The campaign resulted in the collection of (92) blood units, clearly indicating the growing spirit of giving and solidarity among participants. The campaign was accompanied by awareness activities that included short educational lectures and the distribution of informational brochures covering the importance of blood donation and its health benefits, which helped raise the level of health awareness and promote the culture of volunteer work.
For their part, a number of participating students expressed their pride in participating in this humanitarian initiative, confirming that blood donation is considered a national duty and a noble act that contributes to saving the lives of patients, especially in emergency situations, and reflects the values of solidarity and mutual support in society.
