Khaberni - In its ongoing commitment to enhance effective communication with its students and develop its educational outcomes, the Faculty of Law and, in collaboration with the Dean of Student Affairs, organized an interactive meeting with the faculty students, attended by Professor Dr. Mohammed Dhneibat, Dean of the Faculty of Law, Professor Dr. Alaa Al-Fawa'ir, Assistant Dean and Head of the Private Law Department, Dr. Ahmad Al-Badawi, Assistant Dean for Quality and International Accreditation, and Dr. Mohammed Bin Tarif, Dean of Student Affairs,where the meeting addressed several important issues focusing on enhancing students' and graduates' readiness for the job market.
During the meeting, Dr. Dhneibat emphasized the importance of creating a comprehensive database of graduates to allow ongoing communication with them after graduation, including visits to their workplaces and monitoring their employment rates in cooperation with the Dean of Student Affairs, in addition to the importance of offering specialized training courses that contribute to their professional qualification, emphasizing the necessity to prepare for the university competence exam through providing comprehensive strengthening lectures covering various required aspects, to enhance students' chances of passing the exam efficiently.
Meanwhile, Dr. Bin Tarif stressed the importance of student engagement in student clubs, for their role in developing personal and professional skills, alongside the importance of updating graduates' data, and participation in job fairs and training courses organized by the dean's office.
In turn, Dr. Al-Badawi confirmed the necessity of activating communication channels with graduates through creating a specific database for the Faculty of Law, in addition to forming communication groups via social media to facilitate continuous communication and exchange of experiences.
The meeting featured an open and interactive dialogue with the students, during which a number of comments and inquiries were raised, particularly regarding the development of academic programs and enhancing the practical aspect, where they were addressed positively and with attention, with the assurance of studying them and following up and taking necessary actions regarding them, , and at the end of the meeting, a series of qualitative recommendations were confirmed, including the creation of a comprehensive database for the college graduates, activating communication channels with them via digital platforms, and preparing an integrated execution plan for the university competence exam that includes specialized strengthening lectures in legal aspects and life skills, alongside conducting a trial exam for graduates, as well as updating their data at the Dean of Student Affairs, and enhancing their participation in training courses and job days, contributing to enhancing their readiness and competitiveness in the job market.
This meeting reaffirms the commitment of the Faculty of Law and the Dean of Student Affairs at Amman Arab University to developing the knowledge and skills of students and graduates, enhancing the quality of its educational outputs, thus preparing outstanding legal professionals capable of meeting job market demands.
