Khaberni - A 21-year-old woman narrowly escaped a kidnapping attempt by at least two men while trying to go to work in the Santa Ana area of California, according to American media.
Surveillance footage showed the terrified young woman running for her life after a man set a trap for her in broad daylight last Tuesday morning, according to "KTLA".
According to the victim's brother, the woman had just exited her car when she heard someone say "sorry", and "when she turned to look at the source of the sound... there was a man behind a tree who almost jumped towards her upon her saying that and grabbed her arm".
The man attempted to drag her to a running Ford Econoline van with another man inside. His grip was so strong that it left her arm red and swollen to twice its normal size, according to her brother's statements. Nonetheless, the girl managed to break free from his grip and run away.
According to media reports, the attack occurred off Park Center Drive in a quiet business area, and the Santa Ana Police Department is still investigating the incident.
