Khaberni - The public security in Saudi Arabia commenced on Monday the execution of the arrangements and procedures organized for the pilgrimage by banning the residents from entering the holy capital, except for those with a «Resident» ID issued from it, and a «Hajj» or «Work» permit during the season from the relevant authorities.
In a statement on Sunday, the public security emphasized that the arrangements and procedures organized for this year’s Hajj will be applied, for those who do not have an entrance permit to work in the holy sites from the competent authority, or a resident ID issued by the holy capital.
The statement noted that the issuance of entrance permits to the holy capital for residents working during the season is done electronically via the «Absher Individuals» and «Miqat Gateway» platforms, in technical integration with the unified digital platform for issuing Hajj permits «Permit Platform».
The Saudi Ministry of Interior announced on Sunday various arrangements and measures aimed at preserving the safety of the pilgrims, and performing the ritual in security, ease, and tranquility.
The ministry set April 18 (current April) as the last date for the departure of the arrivals with an Umrah visa in Saudi Arabia, along with stopping the issuance of Umrah permits through the «Nusk» platform for citizens of the kingdom, Gulf countries, residents within the country, and holders of other visas until May 31 (next May).
The «Ministry of Interior» indicated that the entry into the city of Mecca or staying in it for holders of visas of all kinds is not allowed, except for those with a Hajj visa, starting from April 18 (April).
The ministry called for adherence to the regulations organized for the Hajj season, and cooperation with the relevant authorities to achieve security and safety for the guests of the merciful, confirming that their violation exposes the perpetrators to statutory penalties.
