Khaberni - People close to the artist Fadel Shaker revealed the details of his life inside his detention, confirming that he is living in a state of anticipation and calm as the resolution of his case approaches in court.
Close sources to the artist Fadel Shaker revealed the details of his daily life inside his detention, coinciding with the forthcoming decision in his case that is being considered by judicial authorities in Lebanon.
Lebanese critic Mahmoud Al-Khatib explained that Shaker is not spending his detention in a traditional prison, but rather, he is located in a special room inside the headquarters of the Lebanese Ministry of Defense, due to the nature of his trial before the military court.
He noted that the artist lives in a state of psychological peace and anticipation, focusing on following the regular sessions of his trial, with a complete halt to his artistic activity, affirming his refusal to record any new works until a final verdict is issued that exonerates him.
He added that his circle of communication is limited to his family and his legal defense team, who make sure to visit him regularly and follow the developments of the case.
In the same context, statements revealed legal developments that may affect the course of the case, including most notably the exclusion of the charge of participating in the battle of Abra, after it was proven that he was not involved in it according to documented testimonies, which narrows the scope of the remaining charges against him.
According to the source, the dispute that previously broke out between Shaker and Ahmad Al-Assir led to the artist giving up his weapon before the conflicts with the Lebanese army began, leaving the current main charge related to belonging to an armed group, amidst attempts by the defense team to drop it.
Despite his absence from the art scene, Fadel Shaker's name still remains prominent, as he recently won awards at the Riyadh season, which his son received on his behalf, in a scene that reflects his continued popularity among his audience.
