Khaberni - The Chief of Joint Staff Major General Yousef Ahmed Al-Huneiti, on Sunday, at the General Command, welcomed the Deputy Commander-in-Chief of the Libyan Armed Forces, Staff Major General Saddam Khalifa Haftar, and his accompanying delegation.
The guest was treated to an official military reception ceremony, where the honor guard lined up to salute him.
During the meeting, both sides discussed ways to enhance cooperation in training and military expertise exchange, which contributes to increasing readiness and addressing the growing security challenges in the region.
Major General Al-Huneiti affirmed that the Jordanian Armed Forces are committed to strengthening their strategic defense partnerships and brotherly relations with the Libyan forces, to enhance regional security and stability and keep pace with the nature of contemporary threats.
For his part, Staff Major General Haftar praised the advanced level reached by the Jordanian Armed Forces, appreciating the depth of the cooperation between the two brotherly countries, and emphasizing the importance of expanding the horizons of joint military coordination in the coming period.
The meeting was attended by a number of senior officers from the Jordanian and Libyan armed forces and the Libyan defense attaché in Amman.
