Khaberni - Israeli Chief of Staff Eyal Zamir said on Sunday that he has instructed the army to switch to "high alert" and prepare for the possibility of resuming fighting with Iran, according to the Israeli newspaper "Yedioth Ahronoth."
This decision comes amidst the collapse of negotiations between the United States and Iran.
The newspaper reported, citing military officials, that the Israeli army has started implementing "combat readiness measures," requesting all units to maintain a high level of readiness.
Last week, Zamir stated that the Israeli army is "prepared to return to fighting in Iran with full force if necessary, at any time."
