Trump The US Navy will block the Strait of Hormuz

Khaberni – US President Donald Trump announced that the US Navy will begin an operation to blockade ships in the Strait of Hormuz, in a new escalation of tensions with Iran.

Trump said that Iran had previously promised to open the strait, but failed to keep its promises, causing anxiety and unrest among many countries, stressing that Tehran is still not ready to give up its nuclear ambitions.

He added that what was agreed upon in recent meetings is "better than continuing military operations," but does not reach the level of ensuring that “unstable parties” do not possess nuclear power, according to him.

Trump mentioned that he received briefings from a number of officials, including J.D. Vance, Steve Witkoff, and Jared Kushner, about a meeting held in Islamabad, noting that most issues were agreed upon, except for the nuclear file which he described as "the most critical point."

He confirmed that the US Navy would begin tracking and intercepting all ships attempting to enter or leave the Strait of Hormuz, emphasizing that what Iran is doing in the strait is "extorting the world," and that the United States will not succumb to that.

He also explained that he has issued instructions for tracking any ship that pays fees to Iran in international waters, warning that any party paying "illegal fees" will not be guaranteed safe passage in open seas.

Trump concluded his statements by announcing the commencement of operations to destroy mines he claimed were planted by Iran in the Strait of Hormuz.
