Netanyahu reveals new information about the war on Iran

Khaberni - Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said on Saturday that the war on Iran "crushed" its nuclear and missile programs.

Netanyahu added, during a press conference, that Israel killed 8 scientists in Iran linked to its nuclear program.

He noted that Iran and its allies "are fighting for survival."

He pointed out that Israel has eradicated the ambitions of the nuclear program; had it not waged its war on Iran, it would now possess a nuclear weapon.

Netanyahu's comments came at a time when the White House announced that direct talks between Tehran and Washington delegations continue in Islamabad, aiming to reach a settlement that puts an end to the war with Iran.

A White House official said the talks are "ongoing," following reports by Iranian state television that two rounds of negotiations had been held, and a third round might take place tonight or tomorrow.

The Iranian Broadcasting Authority stated "according to information provided by a source close to the negotiation team... it is likely that another round of negotiations will be held tonight or tomorrow."

It indicated that efforts are being made to narrow the gap in the Iranian-American talks, noting that the United States continues to make "excessive" demands in the negotiations.
