Khaberni - The "Tasnim" agency revealed crucial details before today's meeting of the Iranian delegation with the Prime Minister of Pakistan Shahbaz Sharif.
"Tasnim" stated that in today's afternoon meeting with Sharif, the Iranian delegation will discuss the issue of the American side's breach of its commitments, as well as address the matter of the liberation of Iranian assets and the ceasefire in Lebanon, as these were among the prerequisites for starting negotiations.
The Iranian agency reported that the United States had informed Pakistan, acting as a mediator in the negotiations, of its agreement to these prerequisites and some other conditions to start negotiations, however, some of these items have not yet been adhered to.
The agency indicated that the Iranian delegation intends in today's meetings to reach an assessment of the American stance and its commitment to its promises, and thereafter, a decision will be made regarding negotiation with the United States.
Vice President of the United States JD Vance and envoys Steve Witkoff and Jared Kushner arrived in Islamabad to conduct talks with Iran, while the "Tasnim" agency reported that the Iranian negotiation team met with the Pakistani army chief last night, adding that the team will meet with the Prime Minister of Pakistan this afternoon.
