Trump No nuclear weapons condition represents 99 of the agreement

Khaberni - U.S. President Donald Trump said about the negotiations with Iran that "a good agreement" from his perspective primarily revolves around preventing Iran from having nuclear weapons.
Trump stated to the press that "no nuclear weapons" is the first and most important point in any potential agreement, adding that this condition constitutes "about 99% of a good agreement," indicating a reduction of Washington's priorities to the nuclear issue without going into wider details.

Regarding the Strait of Hormuz, Trump emphasized that Washington will not allow any fees to be imposed on transit movements, describing the strait as an "international passage," while questioning the validity of any Iranian measures concerning it.

He added that the strait "will open automatically," whether through understandings or without them, stating that the United States does not rely on it commercially, while other countries do depend on it, indicating that Washington sees itself capable of imposing its arrangements in cooperation with other international parties.

In another part of his statements, Trump said he believes that "a change in regime has already occurred" but has not made it a criterion for negotiation, reiterating that the primary goal remains preventing Iran from possessing nuclear weapons.

He also spoke about Iran's military situation, stating, "The naval forces, air force, and air defenses are finished," expressing his assessment of the previous confrontation course, without providing operational details.

Trump concluded his statements by referring to the American negotiating team, noting that Vice President JD Vance, envoy Steve Whitcov, and Jared Kushner will be holding meetings soon, expressing his hope for swift progress in ongoing negotiations.

He affirmed that the U.S. administration will continue the negotiation process "with them or without them," referring to Iran, while keeping both diplomatic and military options on the table.
