Khaberni - Omar Al-Bashtawi, former director of the Referees Department at the Jordan Football Association, said that the level of Jordanian football referees exceeds the level of the local league, confirming that the refereeing teams possess exceptional technical capabilities.
Al-Bashtawi’s statements came at a time when the Referees Committee acknowledged some of the mistakes, including disallowed goals that were valid, counted goals that were invalid, and penalties on the players.
Al-Bashtawi pointed out that refereeing mistakes are part of football.
