Your information is incorrect Rumor angers Real Madrid

Khaberni - Real Madrid denied a rumor that caused significant uproar through the media about the possibility of appointing a sports director.

Real Madrid issued a statement on Friday denying the information reported by the program "El Larguero" on Spain's Cadena SER, which claimed that the club was seeking to appoint a sports director.

According to the club, this news is "completely unfounded," as the club "appreciates the enormous efforts of the sports management."

The radio program "El Larguero" revealed that "Real Madrid is considering, among possible changes, not only signing a midfielder or central defender but also the possibility of adding a sports director to its current structure."

It added: "No final decision has been made yet, but they are considering a restructuring that may not be limited to the team. An external agency for Real Madrid is studying profiles of high-level sports directors, most of whom are currently employed, anticipating the club's need to prepare a list of candidates and send it to them."

The full statement issued by the royal club read: "Real Madrid announces that the information broadcast by the program (El Larguero) on Cadena SER, which suggests that the club is considering appointing a sports director in its structure, is completely unfounded."

It added: "Real Madrid highly values the work being done by the club's sports management, which has enabled us to experience one of the most successful periods in our history by winning many titles, including 6 Champions League titles in the last 10 years."

It should be noted that Real Madrid lost the last match against Bayern Munich with a score of 1-2 in the first leg of the Champions League quarter-finals, looking forward to the return match in Germany next Wednesday.
