Khaberni - Extensive investigations in Turkey target artistic and media figures in drug cases, with several being detained and others pursued within and outside the country.
The artistic and media circles in Turkey are witnessing ongoing developments in the backdrop of investigations related to drug cases, involving a number of well-known figures, as part of continuous security and legal measures in recent times.
The list of names included in the investigations has expanded to include 14 new public figures who have been arrested and are currently undergoing investigation procedures, among them Turkish actor Burak Deniz, alongside Emir Can Egrik, Hafsa Nur Sanjaktutan, Summer Sevfri Oglo, Sera Perin, Ogun Alibas, Sinem Ozeng Onsal, Otku Onsal, Mert Demir, Ahsan Eroglu, Elif Busra Bekin, Emre Ozturek, Enes Guler, and Ender Eroglu.
According to available information, the Turkish police conducted extensive raid campaigns as part of intensive security coordination, which resulted in the arrest of 11 suspects and their detention, while security efforts continue to apprehend the remaining fugitive accused, alongside completing the legal proceedings against one individual outside the country.
These developments follow previously included names in the investigations, among them Turkish actress Hande Erçel, who was detained immediately upon her arrival in Turkey in recent days, where she underwent a drug test, before the results confirmed the sample was negative.
The relevant authorities continue to follow up on the investigations and take the necessary legal measures against those involved, in the realm of handling these cases according to the laws in force.
