Khaberni - The German Football Association imposed a fine of 340,000 euros (397,000 dollars) on Union Berlin, after their fans used fireworks during one of the Bundesliga matches, which necessitated stopping the match.
Union Berlin fans ignited about 200 "Bengal" fireworks at the start of the team's match against Eintracht Frankfurt, which took place on February 6th, causing a stoppage of the match for seven minutes.
The German Football Association clarified that Union Berlin could use 113,000 euros of the fine to cover security expenses and prevent violence.
