Khaberni - On Thursday, Prince Hussein bin Abdullah II, the Crown Prince, visited the Ministry of Digital Economy and Entrepreneurship and met with the development team for the Sanad application.
During the visit, he emphasized the importance of building on what the application has achieved to expand the government services it offers, which will facilitate procedures for citizens.
The Crown Prince noted that the application forms a fundamental pillar in the path of digital transformation in Jordan due to its direct role in simplifying access to government services and enhancing their efficiency, stressing the importance of continuing to develop it and benefit from citizens’ feedback.
He directed towards coordination among the government institutions that provide services through the application to address any remarks on the electronic services.
The Crown Prince listened to an explanation presented by the Minister of Digital Economy and Entrepreneurship, Engineer Sami Samirat, and several workers on the application, about the latest updates on the application and future plans for its development, which include the employment of artificial intelligence, expanding the government services it provides, and increasing the transactions completed through it.
The number of digital identities activated through the Sanad application has reached about 2.5 million digital identities.
