But she did not respond Iran We were about to respond to Israeli attacks in Lebanon

Khaberni - A senior Iranian official mentioned on Thursday that his country was on the verge of "responding" to the extensive Israeli attacks that targeted Lebanon on Wednesday, but he claimed that this response was suspended following "Pakistani intervention", the intermediary in the negotiations between Washington and Tehran.

Iranian Deputy Foreign Minister Saeed Khateeb Zadeh, in statements reported by the "Fars" agency, said, "Iran was last night on the verge of responding to the violation of the ceasefire, but Pakistan intervened and conveyed messages that the United States is exerting its influence to control Israel".

The Iranian official emphasized that "any peace in the region must include Lebanon", considering that "the coming hours will be very critical".

Regarding the negotiations, Khateeb Zadeh pointed out that "an Iranian delegation will head to the peace talks in Islamabad", adding that "based on its commitments, the United States should stop the Israeli attacks on Lebanon".
