Khaberni - Prime Minister Dr. Jafar Hassan made a telephone call with his Lebanese counterpart Dr. Nawaf Salam, where he confirmed Jordan's complete solidarity with brotherly Lebanon and its rejection of the brutal Israeli aggression on its territories.
The Prime Minister confirmed Jordan's absolute stance with Lebanon and its security, stability, sovereignty, and the safety of its citizens, and supported the efforts of the Lebanese government in asserting its control over all Lebanese territories, reactivating its national institutions and monopolizing arms in the hands of the state, affirming that Jordan, under the guidance of His Majesty King Abdullah II, is ready to send possible aid to the brotherly Lebanese Republic.
The Prime Minister expressed Jordan's total rejection of this brutal aggression, which constitutes a violation of the sovereignty of brotherly Lebanon, emphasizing that targeting civilians constitutes a blatant breach of international law and humanitarian international law.
He emphasized that this serious escalation is likely to push the region towards further tension and conflict, stressing the need to immediately stop the aggressions and fully comply with the ceasefire agreement accomplished on November 27, 2024.
