Khaberni - The UAE demanded on Wednesday "accountability" from Iran and "full" compensation for the damages and losses it has incurred due to the Iranian attacks, and confirmed its pursuit of further clarification on the terms of the two-week ceasefire agreement between Washington and Iran.
The UAE Ministry of Foreign Affairs stated in a declaration, "The treacherous Iranian assaults that targeted infrastructure, energy facilities, and civilian sites over the past 40 days, which included about 2819 ballistic and cruise missiles and drones, resulting in human and material losses, call for firm stances, with Iran held accountable and full compensation for the damages and losses."
The UAE confirmed its "close monitoring" of the announcement by US President Donald Trump regarding the ceasefire between the United States and Iran, affirming "its pursuit to obtain more clarifications about the terms of the agreement to ensure Iran's full commitment to the immediate cessation of any hostile acts in the region and the complete and unconditional reopening of the Strait of Hormuz."
