100 aerial attacks targeting Lebanon in 10 minutes

Khaberni - A large number of Lebanese were martyred and injured today, Wednesday, due to intense Israeli raids on the southern suburbs of Beirut, the city of Tyre, and other towns in the south and Bekaa in the east of the country.

Lebanese journalistic sources reported a large number of martyrs and wounded and significant destruction in residential buildings, due to the latest Israeli raids.

This evening, the Israeli occupation army announced carrying out 100 air raids within 10 minutes targeting the Lebanese capital Beirut, and other areas.

The army statement claimed its warplanes targeted Hezbollah's headquarters and military infrastructure in various parts of Beirut, the Bekaa, and southern Lebanon.

It alleged that its raids targeted "intelligence headquarters and central bodies used by Hezbollah elements for directing and planning operations against the army forces and Israel, and infrastructure for fire and naval systems responsible for launching rockets."

Lebanese sources mentioned that an Israeli raid targeted the areas of Bashta, Ain el Mreisseh, Barbour, and Corniche Mazraa in Beirut, as well as another Israeli raid on Jabal al-Karak in Zahle.

The raids targeted the towns of Dours, Shmistar, Hermel, Sahel Tariya, and Sahmur, and the area of Aramoun; the Israeli raids also affected the city of Sidon in southern Lebanon.

In this context, the Israeli Prime Minister, Benjamin Netanyahu, confirmed that the ceasefire agreement with Iran for two weeks "does not include Lebanon," in clear contradiction to a previous statement by the Pakistani Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif, who said that the truce covers "every place including Lebanon."

The Israeli army announced this morning that it continues its attacks and ground operations in Lebanon against Hezbollah despite its announcement of a ceasefire in Iran at the behest of the political level, indicating that it is in a high state of defensive readiness to respond to any breach.
