The first ship to cross Hormuz after the ceasefire

Khaberni  - Maritime data from the Marine Traffic site indicates the first ship has crossed the Strait of Hormuz, hours after the United States and Iran announced a conditional ceasefire for two weeks, allowing free shipping movement through the Strait of Hormuz.

According to maritime data from navigation platforms, the bulk cargo ship "Daytona Beach" crossed the Strait of Hormuz after leaving the waiting area of the Iranian port of Bandar Abbas.

The data shows that the ship, which has a registration number (9615054) and flies the Liberian flag, will unload its cargo at the port of Fujairah in the UAE.

Upon examining the ship's record, it is found to be managed by a company based in Greece, and it has been stopped since the start of the American-Israeli war on Iran before this current crossing.

The data also showed that the ship had entered the Bahraini port of Sitra on February 19, prior to heading to the waiting area of the Iranian port of Bandar Abbas, where it remained anchored throughout the days of the war before its current passage.

These developments come weeks after Iran imposed strict restrictions on navigation in the Strait of Hormuz, amidst military escalation with the United States and Israel, where it stopped or reduced the passage of commercial ships and imposed selective crossing subject to security approvals, alongside rising concerns about targeting tankers or exposing them to navigational interference.
