Yair Golan attacks Netanyahu Promised a historic victory but faced the worst defeat

Khaberni - Yair Golan, leader of the Israeli Democrats, accused Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu of lying after promising a "historic victory", while Israel faced the worst strategic failure it has ever known.
Golan said, "Blood was spilled, civilians were killed, and heroes fell, and the whole country took to the shelters", praising at the same time the performance of the Israeli army which acted with strength and achieved accomplishments, but he added that "Netanyahu's government, with Smotrich and Ben Gvir, failed again in turning these achievements into a victory".
Golan confirmed that the war goals were not achieved, as the Iranian nuclear program was not destroyed, the ballistic threat remains, and the Iranian regime is still standing, even emerging stronger from the war than before.

He pointed out that Iran still possesses enriched uranium and controls the Strait of Hormuz, dictating the terms, while Israel is absent from the scene as happened in Gaza, not deciding or influencing.

Golan concluded his statements by saying that the same picture repeats: "The Israeli army wins but Israel loses, not because of the fighters but because of a failed, extremist, and dangerous government that does not properly turn military achievements into political security," describing what happened as "not a historic victory but a disastrous failure threatening Israel's security for years to come".
