Khaberni - The Amman Municipality has begun the process of removing the Applied Sciences roundabout in the Shafa Badran area and transforming it into a 4-direction traffic light intersection.
It is expected that the actual removal work will start on Thursday, after the municipality began removing some signs and other items from the roundabout area.
The work at the roundabout is expected to continue for two months.
The municipality explained that there will be no road closure, and it will suffice to surround the roundabout with metal barriers that do not affect the flow of traffic.
The municipality emphasized that the decision was based on a traffic study and an increase in the number of accidents at the location.
