Khaberni - Ahmed Hossam Mido, former Zamalek player and Egypt national team member, commented on the incident of his son's imprisonment, after being arrested for possessing narcotics.
Mido said on his latest TV appearance on his program "Oudat Al-Libas": "I am going through difficult times that I wish no father or mother ever has to go through.. We have faith in Allah Almighty.. This is a tough test and a lesson for all of us.. Pray for us that God helps us through this crisis.. Pray for me, Hussein's mother, and his siblings that God gives us strength and sees us through these difficult times.".
The news of the arrest of Ahmed Hossam Mido's son, former star of the Zamalek club and Egypt national team, topped the search engines in recent days, following the decision by the Fifth Settlement prosecution authorities to renew his detention for 15 days pending investigations, in his accusation of possessing narcotics.
Reports revealed that the drug test came back positive, where he confessed to possessing the narcotics.
Upon searching the car, the security forces found a quantity of hashish and several bottles of alcohol, and it was found that the young man was accompanied by a girl at the moment of stopping him at the checkpoint.
The Public Prosecution directed several accusations against the son of the player Ahmed Hossam Mido, which are:
-Driving a car without a license.
-Possession of narcotics.
-Damaging public property.
-Assaulting a policeman and resisting authorities.
