Khaberni - CBS television reported, quoting US officials, that 15 American soldiers were injured in an Iranian drone attack on a base in Kuwait, and that most have returned to service.
The network said: "An Iranian drone airstrike on the Ali al-Salem air base in Kuwait overnight injured 15 Americans with minor injuries".
It claimed that the majority of those injured had returned to their previous postings.
For its part, the US Department of War has not issued any official comment on this information.
Iran conducts airstrikes on US military targets in the Middle East and Israeli territories in response to attacks by the United States and Israel.
The war in the region is nearing its fortieth day amid prospects for reaching an agreement to stop the war, with ongoing threats from US President Donald Trump to destroy all infrastructure in Iran.
