Trump Calls on Iranians to Revolt Against the Regime

Khaberni - On Monday, US President Donald Trump expressed his belief that the Iranian people should revolt against the government in case a ceasefire is announced.

During a press conference, he mentioned that the United States had sent 200 personnel to participate in the rescue of an American aircraft crew inside Iran, speaking of there being great talent in rescue missions.

Trump added: "We can completely destroy Iran by tomorrow night."

Trump stated that the American military does not leave any of its members behind.

He pointed out that the mission to search for and rescue two American soldiers in Iran was one of the most complex and dangerous operations.

"We had a number of aircraft in the enemy's skies, some at low altitude, and guns were pointed at them," Trump said.

In talking about the second rescue operation, Trump said that the second rescue mission in Iran involved 155 planes.

He spoke about deploying American forces in 7 different locations to mislead the Iranian forces during the pilot rescue operation.

He pointed out that "two cargo planes stuck in sand were blown up to prevent the Iranians from acquiring our equipment."

Trump had previously announced in a post on the (Truth Social) platform that he would hold a press conference alongside military leaders, following the United States’ announcement of conducting a "bold" military operation to rescue a crew member of an F-15 fighter aircraft inside Iranian territory.

Trump said that the American forces were able to rescue "one of the aircrew members who was seriously injured, and who showed great courage," noting that the operation was carried out in mountainous areas inside Iran, under pursuit from Iranian forces.

He added that the operation is considered one of the rarest missions due to the significant risks it posed to "personnel and equipment," drawing attention to conducting two rescue operations, one of which took place "in broad daylight" and lasted about seven hours inside Iranian airspace.

Trump described the operation as "an incredible display of courage and proficiency," praising the performance of the American forces.

This press conference comes in the context of a rapidly escalating military confrontation between the United States and Iran, amid mutual threats and intensive diplomatic efforts to try to contain the crisis.

It also comes at a time when the United States and Iran, along with a group of regional mediators, are discussing the terms of a potential 45-day ceasefire that could pave the way for a permanent end to the war, according to four American, Israeli, and regional sources knowledgeable about the talks for Axios.
