Khaberni - A Jordanian bank rejected mediations to settle a financial case lost by the Jordan Phosphate Company and insisted on continuing to collect its rights.
The bank confirmed that precautionary attachment has been established on the defendants' money in the case, and that the judgment has become final Khaberni and the bank wants to start enforcing the judicial decision.
The bank confirmed that the Court of Cassation rejected the appeals submitted by some parties due to their lack of a proper legal basis, which strengthens the bank's legal position.
The Jordan Phosphate Company, managed by Mohammad Al-Zneibat, lost a case worth tens of millions brought by a local bank against Jordan's Al-Abyad Fertilizers and Chemicals Company and its guarantors regarding the direct facilities provided by the Jordanian bank to Al-Abyad company.
According to the bank, the final judgment in the lawsuit related to Al-Abyad Fertilizers and Chemicals obliges the defendants to pay approximately 15.2 million US dollars, in addition to about 802 thousand Jordanian dinars, along with the legal interests due from the date of request until full payment.

Haql Al-Bahr Trading Company and Al-Faris Investment and Industry Company: about 4.4 million US dollars in addition to approximately 802 thousand Jordanian dinars.
