Khaberni - Deputy Mohammad Al-Dhahrani protested against the rise in prices of goods in Jordanian markets, describing it as an insane hike.
During today's Monday session of the deputies, Al-Dhahrani called on the ministers responsible for pricing to come down to the markets "and visit our shops where we buy from," ensuring that they would be shocked.
He stated that there must be a mechanism to control these prices.
He explained that one trader imported 500 thousand tons of rice, which led to his control over the markets, making rice rare in the market and its price increased more than what it was during Ramadan.
