The Cabinet decides to include the sons of Gaza Strip and the sons of Jordanian women in Our Jordan Paradise

Khaberni - The Cabinet decided on Sunday to extend the exemption from the entry fees of archaeological sites for the "Our Jordan, Paradise" program, along with continuing to cover the costs of the trips until December 31, 2026; in a way that contributes to supporting and empowering local communities, and stimulating economic activities in them.

The program aims to activate domestic tourism, and to encourage citizens to frequent national tourist destinations in various provinces of the kingdom, by offering varied tourism experiences and products at subsidized prices that suit everyone.

The program is implemented in partnership with tourism offices, tour guides, hotels, campsites, and the tourist transportation sector, contributing to the sustainability of the tourism sector and enhancing its readiness, especially in light of the current regional conditions.

The program includes organizing monthly events in all provinces, including cultural activities, bazaars, and local products, aimed at activating tourist and economic movement. Additionally, the program provides free transportation with modern buses, accompanying tourist guides, and meals, ensuring an organized trip for participants.

This year, the program aims to reach approximately 220,000 beneficiaries, which for the first time will include Arab and foreign university students studying in the kingdom, sons of Gaza Strip residents, sons of Jordanian women, and their husbands, focusing on increasing trips to less visited destinations and supporting the most affected areas due to the consequences of regional conditions, especially the archaeological sites in the Petra Development Tourism Region.

The program also seeks to expand the participation of local projects to exceed 400 projects, including restaurants, hotels, and tourism experiences, in support of local economic activities.

For this purpose, the program has been enhanced with more than 60 tourist routes covering various regions of the kingdom.

This year, the program will, for the first time, allow direct booking and participation using one's own vehicle through subsidized tourism experiences on its specific electronic platform.
