Jordan and Pakistan Discuss Enhancing Military Relations

Khaberni - Major General Yousef Ahmed Al-Huneiti, Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, received on Sunday, in his office at the General Command of the Jordanian Armed Forces – the Arab Army, the Pakistani Ambassador to the Kingdom, Khurram Sarfraz Khan.

Major General Al-Huneiti discussed with the guest ambassador the aspects of cooperation and joint coordination between the armed forces of the two countries and ways to enhance bilateral relations that serve mutual interests, especially in military, training, and expertise exchange areas.

With the presence of several senior officers of the Jordanian Armed Forces and the Pakistani Military Attaché in Amman, the Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff emphasized the Jordanian Armed Forces' commitment to strengthen cooperation with their Pakistani counterparts, praising the advanced level the relationships between the two countries have reached and the ongoing development in various fields.

For his part, the Pakistani Ambassador expressed his appreciation for the role played by the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan under the leadership of His Majesty King Abdullah II, commending the role of the Jordanian Armed Forces in enhancing security and stability in the region, reaffirming his country’s commitment to strengthen the ties of cooperation with the Kingdom, to achieve mutual interests.
