Khaberni - Today, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu congratulated US President Donald Trump on the rescue of the American pilot whose plane was downed in Iran, praising his firm leadership and great victory.
Netanyahu said in a video clip: "All Israelis rejoice in the amazing rescue of the courageous American pilot by America's brave soldiers. This proves that when free societies gather their courage and determination, they are capable of facing seemingly impossible odds and overcoming the forces of darkness and terrorism."
He added: "This rescue operation reinforces the sacred principle: no one is left behind. This is a shared value that has been demonstrated time and again in the history of our two countries."
He said: "As an official who has repeatedly conducted bold rescue operations, and as a person who was wounded in a similar mission and lost a brother in the Entebbe rescue operation, Israelis and I understand the boldness of the decision you made."
He concluded: "President Trump, Donald, my dear friend, once again, your firm leadership has led America to another great victory. I salute you! We all salute you!"
Trump had announced the rescue of the second American pilot this morning, but Tehran cast doubts on his narrative.
