Khaberni - The Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates condemned today the insults to Jordan during a gathering witnessed in the Syrian capital, Damascus, and emphasized the need to hold those responsible for these insults accountable.
The ministry's official spokesman, Ambassador Fouad Al-Majali, stated that the ministry received assurances from the Syrian Arab Republic's Ministry of Foreign Affairs that the Syrian government completely rejects and condemns any insult to the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan, and that it will take the necessary legal measures against a few individuals who insulted Jordan in violation of the law and in a futile attempt to damage the strong brotherly relations between the two countries.
