Khaberni - The Ministry of Public Works and Housing has begun maintenance and rehabilitation works for several roads in the Zarqa Governorate, costing around half a million dinars.
Work has started on the maintenance of the section connecting the areas of Bireen and Al-Alouk, to implement hot asphalt mixes for an area extending up to 17,500 square meters, with an average width of 8 meters. This includes road marking and the necessary ground reflectors, under the direct technical supervision of the Road Execution and Maintenance Division in Zarqa Works Directorate.
Subsequently, similar maintenance work is scheduled to begin, including parts of the main Hashimiyah road, the service road adjacent to the Prince Mohammed Youth City, in addition to segments of the Mafraq Highway (Jaber road).
These projects are part of the Ministry's regular plans to rehabilitate roads, ensure the sustainability of infrastructure, and secure safe transportation for citizens by enhancing the efficiency of the road network in the governorate and improving traffic safety standards on it, as a continuation of the Ministry's annual program to develop vital roads.
These projects are funded from the budget of the Zarqa Governorate Council (decentralization).
