Khaberni - In the context of the Arab Amman University's keenness to boost its academic and national presence and its effective contribution to developing the educational system in Jordan, the university's College of Pharmacy participated in the activities of the "Integration of Academic, Professional, and Technical Education in Jordan" conference, which was held under the auspices of the former Prime Minister, Professor Dr. Adnan Badran, and organized by the Jasmine Foundation along with the participation of a selection of academics and experts in the education sector.
Dr. Israa Malkawi, head of the Pharmacy Department, represented Arab Amman University at the conference, accompanied by a distinguished group of students from the college, including: student Obada Khattab, student Abdul Rahman Al-Zoubi, student Rahaf Abu Safi, student Noors Al-Sabahi, student Aseel Al-Awad, and student Rama Nasser. They registered an active and honorable presence during the conference activities, where they organized a special introductory corner within the accompanying exhibition, showcasing the journey of Arab Amman University and highlighting the achievements of the College of Pharmacy, its academic programs, and research activities, reflecting the level of excellence and awareness possessed by the college's students.
In this regard, Professor Dr. Rana Abu Hweij, Dean of the College of Pharmacy at Arab Amman University, affirmed the college's commitment to its role in supporting national initiatives aimed at developing the educational system and enhancing the integration between its different paths, in line with the requirements of the coming stage and in contributing to preparing a generation capable of innovation and competition. This participation is part of the vision of the College of Pharmacy aimed at enhancing student engagement in scientific and national events, linking the outputs of academic education with labor market requirements, and keeping pace with rapid technological advancements, especially given the growing role of artificial intelligence in various fields.
