Two projects from the Faculty of Agricultural Technology at AlAhliyya Amman University qualify among the top 10 in the Launch

Khaberni  - The Faculty of Agricultural Technology at Al-Ahliyya Amman University has achieved a notable academic accomplishment, after two of its faculty’s projects qualified among the top ten projects at Jordanian universities, as part of the “Launch” award sponsored by the Hussein Fund for Excellence in Graduation Projects.

The qualification of the projects falls under two main themes; one project qualified in the field of environmental sustainability, and the other in agriculture and food security, to compete in the final stage of the award.

The first project titled "Study on the Potential Use of the Wild Plant

 Arum palaestinum L in Combating Fusarium Wilt Disease", was carried out by students Khazama Al-Tawahih, Ehsan Al-Balawneh, and Abdul-Rahman Al-Jalamneh, under the supervision of Dr. Subhiya Saifan.

 The second project titled "Study on the Potential Use of Bacteria Bacillus thuringiensis  in Combating the Larvae of the Red Palm Weevil", was implemented by students Aya Bassam and Ahmad Al-Saeedi, under the supervision of Dr. Qusai Al-Abdullah. The projects provided a comprehensive scientific framework that contributes to enhancing food security and environmental sustainability by proposing innovative research solutions to agricultural challenges.
