The minister emphasized that "It is unknown which university will be next tomorrow.. This brutality will never end unless the academics themselves take action".

He added: "I would like to thank the foreign academics; in fact, we have seen in recent days expressions of sympathy from many foreign ministers of sciences".

He continued: "I have spoken with my counterparts in several countries. All of them consider these attacks examples of brutality, crime, and unilateral and illegal aggression".

He concluded: "I am grateful to foreign students, professors, and universities, but I ask them to be more serious and proactive and to defeat this savage enemy coming from the Stone Age and to take deterrent actions so we no longer witness attacks on civilian and scientific institutions".
