Khaberni - The Russian state nuclear energy corporation "Rosatom" announced today, Saturday, that it has conducted a final evacuation operation for about 198 Russian workers from the Bushehr nuclear plant, stating that only a few dozen workers remain at the station.
The company said in a statement: "The evacuation from the Bushehr nuclear plant is part of a plan that began since the outbreak of the war late last February, and the Russian government is working to reduce its staff at the Bushehr plant as a precautionary measure. The final evacuation was pre-planned and took place within the framework of the safety procedures followed.".
