Khaberni - Kyrylo Budanov, director of the office of Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky, said on Saturday that American envoys Steve Witkoff and Jared Kushner may visit Kyiv in April, in an effort to revive peace talks with Russia that were halted after the outbreak of the war in the Gulf.
Budanov clarified to Bloomberg "Kushner, Witkoff, and Lindsey Graham — these are expected to come. Who else will attend... we will see."
This will be the first official visit to Kyiv for both Witkoff and Kushner, who had previously met with Ukrainian officials in the United States, but had traveled to Moscow for talks with the Russian side.
The talks mediated by Washington between Ukraine and Russia to end Moscow's ongoing four-year war in Ukraine stopped after the United States and Israel bombed Iran, which led to waves of Iranian retaliation affecting a number of Middle Eastern countries.
