Khaberni - The spokesman for the Public Security Directorate, Amer Sartawi, said on Saturday that the directorate has elevated its level of readiness and alertness to the highest degrees to address the exceptional circumstances the region is experiencing, in addition to activating emergency plans to deal with various scenarios to ensure immediate and effective response to any emergency.
Sartawi added during a press briefing at the National Center for Security and Crisis Management that the directorate has enhanced the deployment of specialized teams to deal with rocket and shrapnel fall incidents.
Sartawi announced that the Public Security Directorate dealt with 585 reports of incidents involving falling rocket debris and shrapnel that affected all the provinces of the kingdom, causing material damages that were limited to 59 homes, 31 vehicles, and 16 incidents of damage to public property.
Public Security: Crowding around the debris impedes the movement of the security forces, disrupts their operations, and poses a danger to both the security forces and the onlookers.
Public Security: The specialized units, especially the Cybercrime Unit, continue to monitor media and digital content to detect rumors and misleading news.
