Khaberni - The dust wave affecting the kingdom will renew in the coming hours, extending its effect until Sunday morning, as informed by the weather forecaster Mohammad Al-Khaldi from the Meteorological Department.
He explained during statements to "Al-Mamlaka" TV on Saturday that this wave renews due to its extension from the coasts of Egypt and Libya across the Mediterranean Sea, leading to dusty weather conditions in various areas.
He added that the weather today would be dusty and relatively cold in most areas, and relatively warm in the Jordan Valley and Aqaba, with moderate to brisk northwesterly winds, while cold weather prevails during the night hours.
He mentioned that the temperatures in the capital Amman register about 17 degrees Celsius during the day and 6 degrees at night, with the continuation of relatively cold weather over the coming days, and chances of scattered rain showers in the northern and central regions.
The Meteorological Department warned in its report of decreased horizontal visibility due to suspended dust in many areas, advising respiratory patients to follow health guidelines and avoid going out unless necessary, and drivers to exercise utmost caution and maintain a sufficient safety distance on the roads.
It is expected that the weather will gradually stabilize by midweek, with a gradual increase in temperatures.
