Khaberni - The Emirati defenses successfully intercepted a drone attack on the Ajban area in Abu Dhabi, resulting in shrapnel that injured 12 people of different nationalities ranging from minor to moderate and severe injuries.
According to the "Abu Dhabi Media Office" account on X, "In the context of ongoing follow-up of the previously announced incident, resulting from the falling shrapnel in the Ajban area following the successful interception by the air defenses, the concerned authorities confirm that the incident resulted in 6 people of Nepalese nationality and 5 people of Indian nationality sustaining injuries ranging from minor to moderate, while one person of Nepalese nationality sustained severe injuries."
The authorities urged the public to obtain information from official sources only and to avoid spreading rumors or unreliable information.
Earlier, the "Abu Dhabi Media Office" account on X said that the competent authorities in the Emirate of Abu Dhabi are dealing with an incident resulting from the falling shrapnel in the Ajban area.
