Khaberni - The President of the Tourism and Travel Agents Association, Mahmoud Al-Khasawneh, revealed on Thursday the upcoming launch of the "Ahlan Jordan" platform soon, aimed at targeting less sensitive markets with special offers, which contributes to the stimulation of various tourism sectors.
Al-Khasawneh added during his talk on the program "Voice of the Kingdom" that the platform will primarily and directly contribute to the operation of various tourism professions.
He confirmed that there is the highest level of coordination between the private sector and the Ministry of Tourism, which has created a state of security and confidence with the public sector, pointing out that the government is the first line of defense for the sector.
Al-Khasawneh mentioned that the government has committed itself to supporting the tourism sector, expressed confidence in it for working hand in hand to direct integrated efforts to revive the tourism wheel amid regional tensions.
He explained that the focus will be on special packages targeting less sensitive markets, markets with direct terrestrial or maritime overlap with Jordan, markets that are not affected by airspace closures, and markets that have not issued travel warnings to the kingdom. It will target 12 countries, including Tunisia, Algeria, Morocco, Lebanon, Syria, Egypt, Iraq, and Palestine, directly, as part of a major promotional plan focused on attracting them through special prices.
