Jordan Central Bank Issues Treasury Bonds Worth 200 Million Dinars

Khaberni - The Central Bank of Jordan, on behalf of the government, issued the fourteenth issuance of the current year of Treasury bonds valued at 200 million dinars on Thursday.

According to the bank's data, the maturity date of the current issue is April 5, 2031, while the bank indicated that the settlement date is April 5, 2026.

Treasury bonds are financing tools with long maturities ranging from two to twenty years, and vary between government/treasury bonds and bonds issued by companies.

Meanwhile, treasury bills are short-term government debt instruments issued for terms ranging from 3 to 12 months, characterized as low-risk financial instruments, traded in the money markets for buying and selling.
