Khaberni - Under the directives of the Governor of Jerash, Dr. Malik Khreisat, and the Chairman of the Greater Jerash Municipal Committee, Pasha Mohammad Bani Yasin, the Public Safety Committee staff in the governorate and the Greater Jerash Municipal staff commenced the closure operations of the abandoned building located opposite the Green Mountain Basic School.
This step was taken in response to a complaint by a citizen, who pointed out the building's danger to the safety of children, due to some students repeatedly climbing to its roof.
The operations included closing the building's entrances and preventing access to its roof, contributing to risk reduction and securing the building's surroundings, as the governorate and municipal staff continue their efforts to monitor such observations and address them according to approved frameworks, thereby enhancing public safety and maintaining citizen safety.
