AlMomani Governments Priority is to Minimize the Impact of Crises on the Economy and Citizens

Khaberni - Government Communication Minister and official spokesperson, Dr. Mohammad Al-Momani, confirmed that Jordan is a state with solid institutions, and that various ministries and government sectors possess high readiness to deal with crises, thereby minimizing their impact on citizens to the lowest levels.

Al-Momani said in statements to the Public Security Radio "Aman FM" today that this readiness is part of the cabinet decisions aimed at ensuring the continuity of normal life in the kingdom, and maintaining stability in vital sectors.

He pointed out that the government had taken a series of measures to face the repercussions of economic and regional crises, emphasizing that protecting the citizen and the national economy is a top priority.

He emphasized that the Jordanian political stance is marked by wisdom and balance, preserving the sovereignty of the state, confirming that Jordan will not be a launching point for any aggression against any country, in commitment to its national interests and political constants.

In the diplomatic context, he explained that His Majesty King Abdullah II is leading effective efforts to reduce escalation in the region, particularly through supporting the Arab Gulf states in facing aggressions, noting that His Highness's movements are widely appreciated at both the Arab and international levels.

Al-Momani confirmed that professional media forms the first line of defense against rumors, due to its pivotal role in conveying the truth and enhancing awareness, especially during times of crises.

On the economic front, he pointed to positive indicators in investment and growth data during the recent period, reflecting the robustness of the Jordanian economy and its ability to adapt to various challenges.

He added that the supply chains for basic goods and energy are stable, and that fuel pricing is adopted in a gradual manner that considers global changes and maintains local stability.

He confirmed the ongoing government support for civil and military institutions, to ensure the availability of goods in the markets, emphasizing that there is currently no intention to implement remote education or work.
