Khaberni - Ali Nikhazad, the deputy speaker of the Iranian parliament, stated that "the enemy's claims that the parliament speaker, Mohammad Bagher Ghalibaf, is conducting negotiations are baseless and are intended to stir controversy".
Nikhazad also confirmed that the Strait of Hormuz will not be reopened, adding: "We have not conducted any negotiations on this matter, and we will not do so. The decision on war, peace, and negotiations is in the hands of the Supreme Leader, and no authorization has been given for negotiations".
