Housing Bank renews its diamond sponsorship for the Arab Group for the Protection of Nature and supports a package of developmen

Khaberni - Housing Bank announced its continued support for the programs of the Arab Group for the Protection of Nature, by providing its diamond sponsorship for the "Green Caravan" program for the sixth consecutive year, in addition to expanding its support to include a package of new development and environmental projects for the year 2026, which aim to enhance food security and economic empowerment in less fortunate areas.

This sponsorship aligns with the bank's social responsibility program "Imkan Housing" within the sectors of environment and social empowerment. The bank is keen to enhance the role of civil society organizations concerned with environmental conservation, and those focusing on enhancing the capabilities of individuals in remote areas to access sustainable livelihoods, which directly contributes to increasing the green cover and empowering families, providing job opportunities and a source of income for farmers.

The support for the year 2026 includes contributing to four main programs; The bank continued to support the "Green Caravan" program to empower small farmers by providing them with fruit trees, and supported the "Green Irrigation" project to install solar-powered water pumping systems, which contributes to significantly reducing irrigation costs and increasing the net annual income of the family. The collaboration also included supporting the "Productive Beehives" project for a number of rural families by providing them with beehives, harvesting tools, and training programs for honey production, in addition to supporting the "Productive Livelihoods" project to establish model laying hen sheds and provide feed and technical supervision, aiming to achieve self-sufficiency and home economic empowerment for the benefited families.

The expansion of the bank's partnership with the Arab Group for the Protection of Nature stems from the "Imkan Housing" program's belief in the visionary goal of enhancing awareness of the importance of agriculture as a civilizational cornerstone, and supporting less fortunate communities through initiatives that leave a tangible impact in reducing poverty and unemployment and ensuring the sustainability of resources for future generations, embodying the bank's mission in building a green future and a productive society.
