The maximum and minimum temperatures in East Amman will range between 20 - 11 degrees Celsius, in West Amman 19 - 9, in the Northern Highlands 18 - 10, in the Sharah Highlands 17 - 8, in the Badia areas 23 - 10, in the plains areas 21 - 13, in the northern Jordan Valley 27 - 16, in the southern Jordan Valley 29 - 18, at the Dead Sea 28 - 16, and in the Gulf of Aqaba 30 - 17 degrees Celsius.
The Meteorological Department warns in its report of the potential for flash floods in valleys and low-lying areas during the evening and nighttime hours, including the Dead Sea area, and of reduced visibility due to dust, especially in the Badia regions, and of the risk of slipping on roads experiencing rainfall.
On Thursday, the weather will be partly to mostly cloudy and rainy at intervals, especially in the western parts of the kingdom, possibly accompanied by thunder in some areas. In the afternoon hours, the chance of rain decreases, and the winds will be moderate to brisk southwesterly, with strong gusts at times, raising dust, especially in the Badia regions.
On Friday, temperatures will drop slightly, and the weather will be partly to mostly cloudy and relatively cool in most areas, but relatively warm in the Jordan Valley, the Dead Sea, and Aqaba, with a chance of light rain in the morning in limited parts of the southwestern regions of the kingdom. Winds will be moderate northwesterly, occasionally gusty.
On Saturday, another slight decrease in temperatures will occur, with the weather being relatively cool in most areas, and relatively warm in the Jordan Valley, Dead Sea, and Aqaba. Winds will be moderate northwesterly, occasionally gusty.
